I am a yoga teacher based in Anglesey, North Wales, and currently teach a number of Iyengar and Vinyasa based Hatha yoga classes. My teaching style is varied offering a good balance of postures and breath work, using a variety of yoga styles. My classes offer a well-rounded mind-body workout that combine strengthening and stretching poses along with deep breathing and relaxation. The exploration and sequencing of different yoga postures will build strength and flexibility in the body, improve posture and balance and helps with reducing stress and anxiety levels, My style of teaching is very hands on with posture adjustments and variations offered to suit all levels of students. Beginners are welcome to come to most classes and will be given extra guidance.
I have been practicing yoga for many years. My journey started with a trip to India to study yoga at the age of 18. I then became interested in Martial arts and Tai Chi, which I studied for 15 years in California. I moved to North Wales in 1988 and began to practice yoga once again. In 2014 I completed the Antara teacher training in North Wales, with Geoff Powell. I began teaching during this time and have never stopped! I have also trained with Richard Ademo, Liz lark, David Swansen, Doug Swanson, John Scott, Scott Johnson, Remma Datta, Danny Paradice, David Keil, Matt Ryan and Mike McCabe.
